Jacki is married, a mom to three kiddos, and self-employed. She grew up on horseback, with little football exposure, but her love for trying new things, challenging herself to improve every day, and her knack for learning quickly has made her an irreplaceable teammate and athlete on the team. She is now in her second season and spent the off-season dedicated to training and preparing for this football season. She poured her off-season training into faster footwork, speed off and on the ball, and securing the ball on catches and it paid off. This season, she challenged even the best receivers the other teams lined up against her.
Jacki has now finished her second season as starting defensive Cornerback and played Special Teams. She earned herself the nickname Jacksplat the Deflector because she led the Division in Pass Deflections – she finished the season #1 in Pass Deflections with 5 deflections in four games. She also had an interception this season, and finished in the Top 25 in our Division for Tackles (with 9 tackles as cornerback in four games – not common as a cornerback).
Jacki has been a respected player with a consistently positive attitude, a knack for encouraging teammates, and a steadiness and reliability at Cornerback. We’re proud to call her our teammate. Thanks for a memorable year two, Jacki – thanks for all you do!
