#66 Corissa Thompson

Corissa grew up in Pipestone, MN and has recently returned to her hometown.  She’s an unlicensed nurse, daughter and sister, and aunt to five girls. She’s big on family and big on the field.  Her high school basketball experience and the thrill of being on the field drive her passion.

Corissa just finished her second season as Defensive End, Defensive Tackle, and Special Teams Sniper. She quickly earned herself the position of Special Teams Sniper for her speed and strength combination and her ability to take on girls twice her size.

Defensively, Corissa made the short list of Top 40 Tacklers in our Division coming in at #30 with 11 total tackles in four games, including 4 tackles for a loss and one sack.

Corissa has been a reliable utility player, often filling multiple roles and positions quickly and successfully…even positions where she’s outmatched by 100+ pounds against an offensive lineman.  She is a never-back-down, never-give-in player with a determination to do big things.  We’re proud to have her on our side. Thanks for a memorable year two, Corissa – glad to have you in the mix!
