#8 Leigh Ann LaFollette

Rookie and Sioux Falls native, Leigh Ann LaFollette is proving to be a solid, reliable addition to the Sioux Falls Snow Leopards women’s tackle football team.  She spends her days working as an Eligibility Senior Representative for Accredo Specialty Pharmacy with a second job as an online Aisles part time shopper at Hy-Vee.  In her “spare time”, she plays hockey, coaches her nephew on the Brandon Valley Ice Cats hockey team helping get more girls involved and making sure women are represented in the coaching staff as well.  She lives with her dog Moxxi who has just finished her theatre debut as “Sandy” in Annie Jr at the Sioux Falls Orpheum and is currently working with Moxxi to become a certified therapy dog.  Leigh Ann has a daughter (Taylor), grandson (Reyson), and son (Keegan).  Although she has never played football, she’s always been a big football fan (Go Cowboys!) and has watched years of family football (son and nephew).  Leigh Ann loves to tackle and has enjoyed trying this new, fun sport.  This season, she is determined to learn the game, elevate her athleticism, and help the team win football games with her tenacious, never-give-up attitude.  She’s going to be a strong addition to the Offensive Line this season!  Welcome to the team, Leigh Ann – we’re glad to have you!  #TogetherWeRise
