Emmy grew up in Lennox, SD and currently resides in Clear Lake, SD with her husband (Jim), daughters (Baylie and Kylie), and her three step children (Ashley, Caden, and Carson). In high school, Emmy played softball, golf, and wrestled. She has loved playing football as a way to keep active and get back into competitive sports. She loves being part of a team and continues to building on her football skill sets.
In Emmy’s last season (her rookie year with the Snow Leopards) she was the starting Defensive End and was a significant contributor on Special Teams. Emmy was a solid addition to our defensive front with an obvious rationale for her nickname “The Enforcer”. She lead our Division in fumble recoveries with a season total of 3, including 11 return yards after fumble recovery, and she finished the season #16 in our Division for Tackles with a total of 18 tackles in four games, including 10 tackles for a loss and 4 sacks. She’s a true defensive stop Enforcer, and we’re proud to call her our teammate. This season she will also be taking some of the snap responsibility at offensive Center. Thanks for your commitment and excitement, Emmy – glad to have you back on board! #TogetherWeRise
