Tina was born in California, grew up in Clear Lake, SD, and currently resides in Revillo, SD with her husband (Michael) and four kids (Ava, Bentley, Erich, and Noah). She played sports in high school and enjoys watching football with her family, particularly watching her boys on the field. She wants to be part of women empowerment, showing women they can do anything. Tina is a determined player with a low shoulder and a “coming at ya” attitude, making her a feared Defensive Tackle and earning her the nickname: Truck ‘em Tina!
In 2022, Tina Fokken was #9 ranked RB in our Division for rushing and hauled in 2 interceptions a Defensive Tackle. In 2023, Tina transitioned to full time Defensive Lineman and in her 2024 season she finished #5 on our team for total tackles. She has returned as Defensive Tackle for the Snow Leopards in her fifth season. Her admirable I’ll do anything, do it hard, and do it well attitude continues to be a priceless gift to our team. Additionally, her intentionality to build off of the knowledge, skills, and tenacity of her first four seasons and her off-season and pre-season training continues to pay off.
