Rookie, Elissa Wiese is originally from Flandreau, South Dakota. She’s a Real Estate Agent on the Jeff Merrill Team and works remotely for Riedel – The Wine Glass Company (a luxury glassware company based out of Austria). She comes from a large family and is the youngest child with 4 older brothers. Elissa grew up watching her brothers play football, basketball, and baseball and wanted to play any sport she could get into. In high school, she played basketball (point guard), volleyball (libero), softball (short stop), and ran track and field, as well as club basketball in college and volleyball and co-ed softball post-college. Elissa loves sports, with special attention to football and basketball. She joined the Sioux Falls Snow Leopards to challenges herself, to be competitive, and to REALLY play football like she’s always wanted to. She’s aggressive, a tough competitor, a hard worker, a strategist, and a positive voice on the team. She will see significant time on both sides of the ball (running back, tight end, strong safety, and linebacker).
