Rookie, Dani Flute is full of promise and potential for the Sioux Falls Snow Leopards women’s tackle football team. Her quickness, catchability, ability to pick up football strategy quickly, and don’t-back-down attitude has already earned her significant time at Tight End and Linebacker. She lives in Colman, South Dakota with her husband (Nick) and four kids (Mya-12, Jaxon-12, Kingston-9, and Maverick-1) and is working full-time as a Nurse Practitioner at Midwest Ear, Nose, & Throat. Dani has an extensive history in high school sports (track, cross country, basketball, volleyball, softball, and TaeKwonDo) and played intercollegiate basketball as well. She joined the Snow Leopards because she loves competition and new challenges, and has loved being part of an amazing group of women working towards a shared goal. Work hard and have fun doing it. Dani is aggressive and adaptable and has already made noticeable waves as a solid tackler great at meeting RBs at the line of scrimmage, a reliable run and pass blocker, and she has an admirable knack for catching even the uncatchable passes. She purposes to find her niche on the team this season, to make a positive impact every time she’s on the field, and she’s excited to boost the Sioux Falls women’s tackle football fan base. Her driven nature and competitive instincts will make her fun to watch this season – watch out opponents! Welcome to the team, Dani – we’re thrilled to have you! #TogetherWeRise
