Dani Flute lives in Colman, South Dakota with her husband (Nick) and four kids (Mya, Jaxon, Kingston, and Maverick) and has started her own private practice as a Nurse Practitioner at Era Health & Hormone. Dani has an extensive history in high school sports (track, cross country, basketball, volleyball, softball, and TaeKwonDo) and played intercollegiate basketball as well. She joined the Snow Leopards because she loves competition and new challenges, and has loved being part of an amazing group of women working towards a shared goal.
Dani was a quick learn, aggressive, and had an obvious knack for the grit and grind of football. In her 2023 rookie season, she was starting Tight End (finishing as a top 5 receiver across all WFA divisions and all receiver positions) and appropriately earned a WFA 1st Team All-American Tight End selection in her first season of football. She also saw time at Middle Linebacker and she finished her rookie season #5 on our team for tackling. In 2024, she stepped into Team Captain responsibilities and took the field as a defensive end and slot receiver, finishing the season with 7 touchdowns, 386 rush yards, 20 receptions, 48 tackles, and WFA All-American 2nd Team selection as a Tight End.
Dani’s quickness, catchability, ability to pick up football strategy quickly, discipline, and don’t-back-down attitude have easily earned her the nickname the “Real Deal” Dani. She’ll be taking the field this season at Running Back and Slot Receiver on offense as well as returning to Defensive End. She will again lead the team and continues to be a reliably positive voice on the team, both on and off the field. We’re proud to call her our teammate and grateful to have her back for another season! #TogetherWeRise #ALLIN
