Michelle C. DeChant lives and works out of Watkins Glen, NY as a marketing and strategic consultant. She lives with her husband (Oliver) on a beautiful piece of land in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Her love for football comes out of a family of devoted football fans, and she grew up playing flag football with her cousins. If women’s teams had been available during her college and early career years, she would certainly have signed up but they weren’t. She strongly believes in women having an equal opportunity to enjoy all the sports in which they wish to participate. Helping the Snow Leopards women’s tackle football team is a small way Michelle shows her support for women who believe football is for them too. She applauds the pioneers in the sport and our organization and she wants to help raise awareness of women’s professional football with corporate sponsors as well as open funding doors for the Snow Leopards.
Michelle is committed to the cause and has been a huge asset in pushing the Snow Leopards organization forward and making women’s tackle football accessible to the future generations of girls. Thanks for all you do, Michelle, largely without anyone fully realizing your extensive sacrifices of time, energy, and effort! Your support means the world to us. Thanks for believing in our team and our future! #TogetherWeRise. #ALLIN
