Zak Hookstra is from North Sioux City, SD where he lives and works as a Professor. He is married with 3 kids and 2 cats. Zak is in his second season as Offensive Line Position Coach for the Sioux Falls Snow Leopards Women’s Tackle Football Team, but he has been playing football and coaching athletics for years. Zak played football, baseball and basketball in high school, and was a college football recruit until he broke his back in a football game. In college he played rugby and post-college he coached football, baseball, and softball (including women’s teams). He has returned to coach the Snow Leopards because he loves developing line players into dominant line players and he has been doing exactly that in our off-season and pre-season training. He’s a loud coach, a big personality, and he brings a lot of knowledge to the coaching crew. He is proud of his “Goon Squad” and they hold deep respect for him as well. He’s a big part of our team and we’re glad to have him back in the mix. Welcome back, Zak! #TogetherWeRise. #ALLIN
